Customer Service Representative

 

Summary

To help agency clients and producers with servicing of accounts and new business.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily office processes

  • Provide general office and administrative duties to ensure continued office functionality

  • Professional administer incoming and outgoing phone calls

  • Work closely with clients to understand and resolve their information, servicing, and insurance needs

  • Be a friendly, welcoming customer service representative for the office

  • Review customer accounts upon renewal

  • Process daily endorsements, claims, payments, and renewals into management system accurately

  • Process mail and faxes and distribute accordingly

  • Create and process reports as needed

  • Assist/support all team members

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Perform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as directed

  • Represent Steil Insurance at local functions/events

Job Specifications

Education, Experience

  • High School degree or equivalent required

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required

  • Previous insurance experience preferred, but not required

  • Ability to achieve property/casualty insurance license in the time frame given
